About the Role

As a Material Handler at Coca-Cola UNITED, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Working remotely, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Fills orders from tickets according to set quotas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment.
• Orders are filled manually by walking and using pallet jacks and/or riding jacks, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Identify product by description and quantity, then remove product from area and carry to the staging area, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Check for accuracy in picking, verifying that orders are complete and accurate.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Complete daily powered equipment inspection form, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition.
• Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sort and place materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, or product code.
• Mark materials with identifying information, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory management.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed, maintaining accurate records and inventory levels.
• Count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to Company standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience with powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and/or riding jacks, demonstrating proficiency in equipment operation.
