About the Role: Finance Systems Analyst
We're seeking an experienced Finance Systems Analyst to join our Corporate Applications Group in our IT organization. As a trusted partner to the Finance team, you will play a critical role in implementing systems and process improvements that drive business growth and efficiency. This is a full-time remote opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $330 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate finance business systems and client needs to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and document business requirements, functional specifications, and goals for business system initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to understand business needs and solutions that align with overall business strategies.
- Perform complex project management, business analysis, planning, and technical tasks.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for all system activities related to enterprise system implementations, upgrades, and integration projects.
- Identify and investigate functional issues and system gaps for enterprise systems and processes.
- Document current and future processes, and summarize technical plans and changes to a non-technical audience.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP finance modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing, and Financial planning.
- Proficiency with SaaS applications, such as Coupa, BREX, or Zip.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across remote teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira or Asana.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit requirements.
- Familiarity with financial planning tools, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights.
- Experience with process mapping and documentation.
