The backer has founded over 100 companies since 2000, including one recognized globally for its contributions to vaccine development.The RoleOur client is seeking an experienced, creative, and talented Principal / Senior Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and product development, with the ability to lead projects and communicate effectively across teams and with ML researchers.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Act as a single-threaded leader for both front-end and back-end application development.Design system architecture for rapidly evolving, AI-enabled back-end components.Contribute to User Interface design and participate in customer feedback.Manage the application development lifecycle, including implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery best practices.Leverage AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable and efficient deployment of AI models.Uphold high standards of data security and compliance across all applications.Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, action-oriented, team environment and demonstrate a clear passion for AI innovation and impact. This position offers a unique opportunity to help drive the strategy of an early-stage AI-focused company. The candidate must be entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and purpose-driven, with a proven track record of building consumer applications or large internal applications. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead application development in a dynamic and innovative environment.Qualifications5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on building applications.Extensive experience with AWS services (including EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) or a similar cloud services provider.Fluency in Python.Demonstrated ability to build scalable, efficient, and secure software applications.Motivated and team-oriented, with an ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with LLM development.AWS Certifications, such as Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.Ability to build applications using the AWS CDK.Knowledge of security best practices for SaaS solutions.What we offer USD Salary Fully remote, Latam.
