About the position Bluebird Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Psychology for a travel nursing position in San Angelo, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety of professional nursing duties under general supervision, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care in a clinical setting. The travel nurse will be expected to work 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible and a contract duration of 13 weeks. Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of professional nursing duties for patients in the clinical specialty of psychology. , Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs. , Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team. , Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. , Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment plans. , Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. , Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) license required. , CPR Certification required. , Associate Degree in Nursing required. , High School Diploma required.
