Job Summary
As a Sr Financial Analyst FP&A, Global Supply Chain & Logistics, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the Sr Director Middle Mile Transportation and his/her team. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the financial performance of our Middle Mile transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing expenses. You will also provide ad hoc analytics to explain key business drivers and influence optimal outcomes, as well as financial analysis for key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct financial support to the Sr Director Middle Mile Transportation and his/her team, including budgeting, forecasting, and actual performance recaps
- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze and optimize Middle Mile transportation costs and operations
- Conduct ad hoc analytics to explain key business drivers and influence optimal outcomes
- Provide financial analysis and insights for key business initiatives, including strategic planning and decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and supply chain, to drive business growth and excellence
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in Finance, Operations, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in finance and/or operations, with a focus on financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with big data
- Ability to work with all levels of management, with a high level of autonomy, motivation, and self-direction
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Operations, or related field
- Experience in the retail industry, with a focus on supply chain and logistics
- Certifications, such as CPA or CMA, are a plus
