About the Role
As a Senior Testing Coordinator with Oil and Gas expertise, you will play a pivotal role in our client's large-scale ERP transformation project, ensuring the successful validation and execution of testing plans. Your experience in managing testing logistics, coordinating with team members, and tracking testing status using Jira will be invaluable in driving project success. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the testing strategy and approach, ensuring alignment with the overarching project plan.
- Identify dependencies and risks associated with the testing plan and escalate them to the PMO as necessary.
- Manage and initiate testing logistics both onsite and offsite, utilizing remote applications to facilitate seamless execution.
- Support the preparation of the performance test environment and coordinate with team members to ensure the development of necessary materials.
- Scale alongside a fast-moving environment, adapting to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Coordinate directly with team members to ensure the successful completion and execution of the test plan.
- Track testing status and milestones using Jira, providing regular updates to the PMO.
- Manage the delivery of project documents and ensure the quality of deliverables for overall testing, adhering to all audit requirements.
- Resolve and track critical issues and failures to minimize project risk factors, escalating to the PMO as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, sub-contractors, and vendors to establish a cordial and productive working relationship.
- Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to superiors and company management.
- Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the client's organization and industry.
- Facilitate large workshops and testing sessions, ensuring effective collaboration and issue resolution.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a testing coordinator position within the Upstream, Midstream, and/or Downstream oil and gas industry.
- A proven track record as a Testing Lead Coordinator who has validated testing plans and run testing programs on large-scale ERP transformations.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and automated testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with O&G (Oil & Gas) / SAP4 Hana is highly desirable.
- SQL experience, particularly for Teradata to Snowflake migration, is preferred.
- A strong background in large-scale testing strategy and implementation, with the ability to manage large-scale engagements and coordinate with program BAs and PMO.
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Education and Qualifications
