About the Role
As a Senior GL Accountant, you'll play a critical role in our accounting team, working closely with our Senior Accounting Supervisor to drive process improvements, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain the highest level of financial stewardship. You'll be responsible for a range of key tasks, including:
- Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Owning the monthly close cycle for assigned functional areas, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintaining financial records for management and GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Collaborating with external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
- Communicating with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses and projects to drive process improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and SOX/internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA certification (or working towards it)
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software, with the ability to manipulate and process large datasets
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, or GSuite
- Previous experience in a technology or logistics company
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
