About the Role: Senior Analyst, Informatics
As a Senior Analyst, Informatics at blithequark, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering complex data analysis, reporting solutions, and applications that meet the evolving needs of our business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal partners and business units to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and applications that drive business growth and improvement.
- Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, create sophisticated reports, and perform in-depth data analysis to answer business questions and inform strategic decisions.
- Design and develop applications for internal clients, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Evaluate data needs for assigned projects, ensuring data integrity and suitability, and determining data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment techniques.
- Transform data into actionable insights through reporting solutions, and present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Present analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders, communicating complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
- Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications.
- Reporting platform - SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS).
- Development Programming Languages / Knowledge / Experience - ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript.
- Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience - Transact SQL.
- Database Knowledge / Experience - MS SQL Server.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, having experience in the following areas can give you a competitive edge:
- Reporting platform - WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad).
- Knowledge of blithequark systems, databases, and underlying data structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.).
- Database Knowledge / Experience - Hadoop, Oracle.
- Development Database Languages / Knowledge / Experience - Oracle PLSQL.
- Crystal Reporting experience.
