Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant - NetSuite to join our team on a remote basis. As a Senior Accountant - NetSuite, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all client deliverables are achieved in a timely fashion during the client onboarding process. You'll work closely with our Implementation Team to support client-related goals and objectives, and contribute to the success of our clients through your expertise in full-cycle accounting, NetSuite, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Implementation Team to ensure timely and successful client onboarding, including setup and configuration of NetSuite
- Provide full-cycle accounting support, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
- Manage and complete special projects, back work, and daily projects as assigned by the Implementation Team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Present complex financial information to various audiences, including clients and internal stakeholders
- Analyze and resolve accounting discrepancies, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal financial performance
Essential Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience with NetSuite, preferably in an implementation or accounting role
- Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the $5M to $50M market
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables) and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to various audiences
- Keen attention to detail, with demonstrated accuracy and speed in current role
- Proven judgment and decision-making skills, with a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA)
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
