Key Responsibilities: Provide top-notch patient support via phone, email, and other communication channels, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions to patient inquiries and concerns. Meet performance goals in patient satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance, while adhering to department standards and guidelines. Multitask using dual monitors for data entry, phone etiquette, and resource utilization, maintaining proper guidelines and protocols. Collaborate with internal teams, including clinicians and supervisors, to resolve patient issues and provide exceptional care. Utilize Optum systems to address customer needs, including appointments, authorizations, claims, and benefits. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. 2+ years of customer service experience. 40 wpm typing speed and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and other systems. Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Previous experience working in a virtual environment or with multiple computer screens. Telecommuting Requirements: Reside within the Mountain or Central Time Zone. Ability to maintain a secure and private work area. Reliable high-speed internet connection.
