They are seeking an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator to manage client invoices, implement billing processes, and ensure compliance with firm policies.
Responsibilities
- Accurately generate client invoices (both paper and electronic) in high volume
- Assess and implement complex billing processes based on client requirements
- Ensure billing processes are in compliance with established firm policies and procedures
- Resolve invoicing issues after submission to clients, including (but not limited to) payment issues and monitoring client e-billing systems
- Collaborate with other team members and administrative departments
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivation and flexibility to meet the changing demands of the position
- Ability to work independently while organizing and prioritizing numerous projects/tasks with competing deadlines
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion
- Knowledge of Aderant or similar systems
- E-billing experience
