Key Responsibilities
As the Principal Engineering Manager for Viva Connect Web Experiences, you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end success of the product suite. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership & Growth: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high‑performing team of frontend engineers; establish clear career paths, performance metrics, and development plans.
- Technical Vision & Architecture: Define and evangelize the technical roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and accessibility across all web touchpoints.
- Product Delivery: Own the delivery lifecycle—from concept and design hand‑off through implementation, testing, release, and iteration—while maintaining a relentless focus on user experience.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, UX/UI Design, Data Science, and Backend Engineering to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Innovation & Experimentation: Champion data‑driven decisions, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping to continuously improve product metrics and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands‑on software development, with at least 3 years leading high‑performing frontend engineering teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue), HTML5, CSS3, and related tooling (Webpack, Babel, ESLint).
- Cloud Knowledge: Proven experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, App Service, and CI/CD pipelines.
