Core Functions:
- Serve as a Patient Advocate and Service Ambassador, providing proactive attention to internal and external customers
- Perform on-site patient access registration related functions, ensuring patient safety, quality, and reimbursement
- Comply with established UHealth policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations
- Collect patient financial responsibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay discounts
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, using excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-resolution skills
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ year of customer service experience; experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to work with multiple electronic systems, including UChart, Cadence/Prelude/Enterprise Billing, and more
