Project: End-to-End Migration to Oracle Cloud ERP Financials
Overview
Seeking a senior Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant to lead a full migration from a legacy ERP to Oracle Cloud ERP Financials. This is a high‑visibility role working directly with the CFO, Controller, and Finance leadership, acting as the primary liaison between the business and the System Integrator to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Represent the Finance organization in all interactions with the System Integrator.
• Work directly with CFO, Controller, VP of Finance, and senior leadership.
• Provide clear status updates, presentations, and guidance to stakeholders.
• Act as the functional bridge between Business, SI, Technical, and QA teams.
Functional Leadership & Oracle Expertise
• Serve as SME across Oracle Cloud Financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, Expenses, SLA, Tax Engine.
• Conduct discovery workshops, gather requirements, and analyze business processes.
• Lead CRP, SIT, UAT phases – including planning, script creation, execution & defect management.
• Recommend and design configurations, solutions, and best‑practice processes.
Project Execution & Delivery
• Guide SI teams on functional decisions and solution design.
• Review SI deliverables for accuracy and business alignment.
• Support end users during CRP/testing and validate key scenarios.
• Lead cutover planning, readiness activities, and post‑go‑live support.
Data Conversion Leadership
• Drive data conversion strategy for all Oracle Financials modules.
• Assess legacy data and determine required migration scope.
• Work with technical teams on FBDI design, validation, and reconciliations.
• Mentor developers and QA on conversion, integration, and reporting requirements.
Integrations & Reporting
• Support integrations with tax engines, banks, and third‑party systems.
• Provide requirements for reports/dashboards (OTBI, BI Publisher).
• Work with technical teams on OIC, Web Services, and Financials APIs.
Requirements
• 8–12+ years of Oracle Financials experience.
• 3+ full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
• Strong configuration experience: GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, Expenses, Tax Engine.
• Solid accounting knowledge (GL, Journals, P&L, Balance Sheet); CPA or accounting background is a plus.
• Deep understanding of SLA, period close, and financial reporting.
• Strong experience with CRP, SIT, UAT, and production cutover.
• Ability to work with C‑suite leadership and communicate clearly.
• Experience in large, complex enterprise program environments.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
