Responsibilities
- Work remotely with up to 45 clients, providing Controllership services and helping them make informed financial decisions
- Read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, identifying areas of opportunity and potential problems
- Meet with clients via Zoom or telephone to discuss financial performance, present options, and hold them accountable for taking agreed actions
- Participate in quarterly group calls and team meetings for training and company-wide communication
- Travel occasionally for live meetings and conferences (not required)
Requirements
- Accounting or finance degree required
- Strong background in financial and/or accounting roles
- Ability to spot and explain financial trends and issues in plain English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with small businesses or law firms (not required)
- Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks)

- Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $132,600 per year

Physical Requirements and Travel
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Occasional travel required for quarterly conference participation
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are to be determined in conjunction with supervisor. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
