Job Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Advisor, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our EFB initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting projects for the EFB Platform and Hardware team, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Building and maintaining effective business partnerships with other Flight Ops business units, Delta Line Maintenance, Delta IT, OCC, MCC, IFS, ALPA, FAA, and related EFB vendors to drive collaborative solutions.
- Utilizing available tools to create reports and dashboards to trend inventory consumption, operating system, app currency, and other EFB-related metrics, providing actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Supporting document management, revision processes/workflows, and other departmental project management and technology initiatives to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintaining the EFB hardware and software updates in cooperation with Airbus, Navblue, TechOps, Performance Engineering, and Flight Ops Pubs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Testing and troubleshooting iPad EFB hardware and operating system issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with the EFB Application team and Tech Pilots to test, troubleshoot, and support iPad EFB Applications, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
