We're now seeking an experienced Remote Pharmacy Technician to join our Prior Authorization Team as a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in reviewing Prior Authorizations for determination for a department that is part of a large healthcare insurance company. This is a 100% remote opportunity, with a preference for candidates in the Mountain time zone. You will be responsible for approving or denying PAs, sending some PAs to Pharmacists for final review, and handling all health plans and medication types. This is a computer-based role with little to no phone work, where you will process prescription exceptions, resolve claim rejects, and conduct member and physician outreach.
