Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in a part-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive accounting and financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
- Accurately record financial transactions across various ledgers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and other account reconciliations.
- Generate journal entries as required, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Execute various general accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Assist with payroll processing, including calculating payroll taxes, preparing payroll reports, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
- Manage sales/use tax returns, including preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Required Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including:
- A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong background in full charge bookkeeping.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, including setting up and managing company files, processing transactions, and generating reports.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with familiarity with additional accounting software.
- Excellent organizational capabilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while adapting to diverse personalities.
