About the Role
As a Remote Beauty Advisor at blithequark, you'll be responsible for responding to client inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing general support via phone and chat. You'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that their concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences, driving loyalty and satisfaction among our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests/inquiries via phone and/or chat, including product purchases, service & quality inquiries, order status, product information, and general client support issues
- Demonstrate high standards for quality service, ensuring that client interactions are positive and productive
- Stay up-to-date with product/procedural knowledge and industry trends, providing accurate and timely information to clients
- Work in tandem with the quality and training team to self-manage performance expectations, striving to exceed key performance indicators (KPI) and quality goals
- Maintain open communication lines with Team Lead/Quality Advocate/Trainer and Manager for support and personal development
- Maintain business acumen, courtesy, and professionalism when dealing with all client contacts
- Accurately and fully document all client interactions in our proprietary call center database (CSC)
- Adhere to all schedules and deadlines, both scheduled and special projects
- Communicate with customers in a proactive and professional manner across multiple communication channels, including phone, chat, and email
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Remote Beauty Advisor at blithequark, you'll need:
- 2-3 years of experience in a business/professional environment, preferably in the service industry
- Excellent oral communication skills, with clear diction, tone, and knowledge of proper grammar
- A positive outlook and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong desire to be helpful and take ownership of customer situations
- Aptitude for learning and understanding quickly, with a naturally curious approach to new information
- Ability to multitask by reading, typing, and navigating through applications while speaking to customers
- Strong written communication skills, with a commitment to client service and high-quality standards in grammar, punctuation, and written business acumen
- Computer literacy and internet savviness, with e-commerce and online shopping experience preferred
- Experience with Windows-based applications, specifically client relationship management tools (e.g., Instant Service)
- Excellent data entry skills, with a minimum typing speed of 45-55 wpm
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (English & Spanish)
- Prior customer service/troubleshooting experience
- Experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry
- Live chat experience
- Call center experience

Technical Requirements
To work as a Remote Beauty Advisor at blithequark, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements:
- A Windows-based computer (Macbooks and Chromebooks are not compatible)
- Dual Core 1.2 GHz or better CPU speed
- 8 GB of RAM or better
- 40 GB or more of available space on your hard drive
- Windows 10 Professional operating system
- Dual monitors with 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) screen resolution or better
- A hard-wired internet connection (no wireless/WiFi) with a minimum download speed of 45 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps
Schedule and Availability
We're looking for team members who can commit to a regular schedule. You'll be required to work:
- 8-hour shifts, 1 weekend day and 4 weekdays in the evenings (3:40pm EST - 12:10am EST)
- OR 8-hour shifts, 1 weekend day and 4 weekdays (7am - 5pm EST)
- OR 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week (1pm EST - 12am EST)
Schedules cannot be negotiated, and overtime may be required during holidays and promotional periods.
