About the Role: Remote Chat Agent
We're seeking an experienced Remote Chat Agent to join our team. As a Chat Agent, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch customer service and support to our clients through our chat and text messaging platforms. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and engage in conversation with inbound chat/text messages in a timely and professional manner
- Provide thoughtful and grammatically correct responses to customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Engage with conversations within 1 minute of receipt, ensuring prompt and efficient service
- Identify and report system errors or anomalies to the relevant teams, ensuring seamless customer experiences
- Work a set minimum number of conversations per hour, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
- Operate within multiple software platforms, leveraging technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain a high level of performance, with an ERA above 10% potentially resulting in coaching and possible termination
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A strong knowledge of the automobile industry, including makes and models of vehicles
- Access to high-speed internet, ensuring seamless communication with our customers
- A high school diploma or GED, demonstrating a foundational level of education
While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly preferred:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Familiarity with multiple software platforms, including chat and text messaging tools
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences

We're offering two different schedules for this role:
- Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Thursday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Friday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), Saturday (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM), and Sunday (OFF)
- Monday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Tuesday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Wednesday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Thursday (OFF), Friday (OFF), Saturday (12:00 PM - 10:00 PM), and Sunday (OFF)
