As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. Our Bismarck Clinic is a Level 2 trauma center, providing state-of-the-art equipment and a dynamic work environment. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be part of a teaching facility and work with cutting-edge technology, including Fluoroscopy, Diagnostic X-Ray Imaging, and more. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Operate equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines. Ensure accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures and conduct image operations according to provider requests. Implement radiation safety guidelines and conduct proper radiation protection practices during the imaging process. Deliver excellent patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system and perform additional duties as assigned. May be required to perform mobile imaging, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitor placement, and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) procedures. Essential Qualifications Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Registration with the ARRT. Licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) if working in North Dakota. Permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health if working in Iowa. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment. Preferred Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (may be required within the first eight weeks of hire). Previous experience in a radiology department, particularly in a Level 2 trauma center. Familiarity with state-of-the-art radiology equipment and technology. Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong technical skills, with the ability to operate complex radiology equipment.
