About the Role: Maintenance Control Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Control Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance staff, including troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues
- Analyze mechanical and operational performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement solutions to maintenance issues, including coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and operations to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our maintenance operations
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as aviation maintenance, aerospace engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a maintenance control technician or in a related role, preferably in the aviation industry
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Knowledge of MEL, ETOPS, and GPM
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and days off
- Ability to travel for support of unavailable aircraft
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Extensive experience as a maintenance control technician or in a related role, preferably in the aviation industry
- Broad knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with aircraft maintenance management systems and software
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising or leading teams
- Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages commonly spoken in the regions we operate
