Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of our cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications, as well as leading and mentoring a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Perform full stack development for HPC and ML performance on arenaflex's cloud platform, including kernel optimization, userspace communication libraries (e.g., MPI library, libfabric, NCCL), and customer HPC and ML applications
- Develop HPC and ML solutions on arenaflex's cloud platform
- Set technical direction and boundaries for a team of engineers
- Manage project needs, deadlines, and expectations
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience with software development, including experience with data structures and algorithms
- At least 3 years of experience with testing and deploying software products, including experience with software design and architecture
- At least 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with C++, device drivers, Linux kernel, and Remote Direct Memory Access
- Experience with Linux device drivers, networking stack, and operating system tuning and packaging
- Experience with HPC and ML communications, including MPI, collective communication libraries, libfabric, and attachment programming
