Key Responsibilities
- Execute patient intervention programs, including medication therapy management, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence and clinical programs.
- Drive pharmacy financial performance by implementing programs to maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with clinical networks in assigned regions and serve as a liaison and contact for Blithequark.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance plans as needed.
- Conduct data and clinical reviews to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions.
- Review medication records and patient profiles to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
- Provide individualized patient counseling and education.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices in pharmacy practice.
Essential Qualifications
- Current pharmacist license as granted by the relevant state licensing authority.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a clinical or patient-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a remote setting with minimal supervision, using time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy management systems.
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, laws, and standards, including HIPAA guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses as needed.
- Knowledge of insurance plans and reimbursement policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
- Certification in a pharmacy-related specialty, such as pharmacotherapy or medication therapy management.
