Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technician, IT Services. As a remote data entry and end-client support specialist, you'll be responsible for resolving technical issues, supporting end-client computing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. Key Responsibilities
- Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-client workstations and peripherals
- Address client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
- Contribute to workstation projects (global installations/updates) as a project team member
- Remotely diagnose and resolve demands using remote tools
- Investigate and collaborate with different departments to assist with system-related issues
- Record client associations in incident management system, including asset management
- Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
- Uphold remote access for virtual private network availability, as well as remote/broadband network for workstations
- Install and configure local and network-based printers
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
- Follow management direction, complying with IT policy and procedures
- Perform various duties as requested
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience/training
- 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues
- Firsthand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
Preferred Qualifications
- A+ certification
- MCSE/MCP certification
- Previous IT infrastructure experience in an Airline/Airport environment
Skills and Competencies
- General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10
- Knowledge of workflow and ticketing systems
- Understanding of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work independently and act in a cooperative, team-based environment
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
