About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team. As a Performance Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business results and defining industry standards through your analytical expertise. You will work closely with our Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce teams to provide dimension and analytical support, leveraging your skills in forecasting, root-cause analysis, and data visualization to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
- Monitoring agent performance, proactively identifying areas for further research, and personalizing analyses from start to finish
- Building shows and visualizations to tell compelling stories with data
- Presenting and discussing findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
- Creating, maintaining, auditing, and continuously optimizing reports and documents used to support various programs
- Executing programs critical to the business operation under strict timelines
Measurement and Analytics
As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you will leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/maintain reports. You will also:
- Monitor data quality and document accuracy; improve as needed
- Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
- Apply progressive analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with current data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members
Requirements
We are looking for individuals with:
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
- Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
- Proactive interest in understanding the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
- Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
- Experience with SQL and R or Python
Nice-to-Haves
We also welcome candidates with:
- Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and skills
- Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/team members
- Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
