About the People Analytics Team
The People Analytics Team is a vital part of the People Division at American Airlines, and we're looking for a skilled Data Entry Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a member of this team, you'll play a critical role in providing analytical expertise to the Human Resources (HR) Department and driving initiatives that deliver value, cost savings, and process efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive and develop analytical models to drive business decisions
- Define and track key performance metrics, develop scorecards, and drive improvement initiatives
- Develop forecasting models to inform strategic decisions
- Integrate and manage large datasets to provide insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes
- Complete ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR or People Analytics role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- An advanced degree or Master's degree in Business Administration
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
