About the Role
As a Customer Service Group Leader with blithequark's Merchant Services Team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our merchants receive the support they need to succeed on our platform. You'll report to our Merchant Services Manager and serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and coaching to your colleagues while driving key performance metrics and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
This role is currently available as a work-from-home opportunity, with the expectation of transitioning to a hybrid model with some in-office time once our offices resume normal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mentorship and coaching to your colleagues to improve their overall performance and drive key metrics such as customer satisfaction and issue resolution rates.
- Demonstrate initiative and a commitment to excellence, driving a positive work environment and setting a high standard for your team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, seeking opportunities to improve processes and procedures and drive business growth.
- Make a positive impact on the customer experience by inspiring your team to deliver exceptional support and making it easy for merchants to work with blithequark.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement projects to drive efficiency and quality, leveraging data analysis and insights to inform your decisions.
- Respond to and resolve escalated complaints from customers and merchants, providing timely and effective solutions that meet their needs.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or related field, preferably in an office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of technical expertise.
- A customer-driven mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences and resolving issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and develop creative solutions.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis and insights to inform your decisions.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of customer interactions.
