Responsibilities
- Work on Rail Stations and transportation structure construction projects
- Engage in planning, design, and execution of rail infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to blend theoretical knowledge with practical application
- Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned
- Progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated projects with a technical team
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Course work related to transportation
- Previous design intern experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/Inroads or AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
- Ability to utilize design manuals, as needed
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
