The Amex Offers Business
Launched in 2012, Amex Offers is a digital advertising platform that connects Merchants, Advertisers, and brands with tens of millions of American Express Card Members across the globe. Our team develops strategic marketing partnerships that deliver unique, differentiated value to reach high-spending Card Members in the digital channels where they engage with American Express.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5+ sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure a high-performing sales team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets, volumes, and growth objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through new client/advertiser acquisition and expansion of new accounts.
- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and stakeholders; address and resolve complex advertiser issues to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global counterparts to drive global growth.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales or Account Development, preferably within a digital media or performance marketing sales role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Outstanding business acumen and strategic perspective.
- Exceptional relationship-building experience, including the ability to develop relationships with media/affiliate agencies, senior executives, and C-Suite leadership teams externally.
- Proven ability to influence others.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with experience in meeting and exceeding sales goals while managing an active sales pipeline across a team.
- Ability to think creatively, approach sales enablement from new angles, and manage/navigate in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing, and growing environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
