Chief Financial Officer | Family Office & Holding Companies
This role is fully remote, requiring a strong CFO to oversee the families’ personal finances, evaluate deals, and oversee operational companies.
Pay Range
Base pay: $250,000 – $350,000 per year, DOE.
Duties
• Oversee all financial, business strategy, legal, tax planning, insurance, and IT affairs for the family office and portfolio companies.
• Oversee entity structuring, tax planning, and financing around buying and selling portfolio companies and real estate investment.
• Forward strategize and model with ownership regarding potential new acquisitions and sales of portfolio assets.
• Maintain and grow relationships with banks, financial institutions, attorneys, advisory firms, and consultants.
• Work closely with family and financial advisors on investment strategy to maximize returns and minimize tax exposure.
• Work closely with attorneys regarding portfolio company legal matters, family estate planning, and other legal issues.
• Manage the family’s personal real estate assets and other assets such as vehicles, watercraft, and planes.
Day-to-Day Focus for Portfolio Companies
• Collaborate with company executives.
• Oversee company financial managers to ensure quality reporting and training is current.
• Track performance of all real estate investments and operating companies.
• Oversee cash management and forecasting.
Compensation
Salary: $250,000 – $350,000 per year, DOE. Compensation also includes benefits per company policy.
