You Are

A talented and certified Google Cloud Engineer joining our specialized team in preparation for a major proposal to a federal agency. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Document AI, Vertex AI, and advanced machine learning techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain relevant certifications and develop specialized skills, ensuring readiness for full-time engagement upon winning the contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

? Certification Maintenance:
? Maintain active Google Cloud Professional certifications.
? Engage in continuous learning to stay current with GCP, AI, and machine learning advancements.
? Skill Development:
? Build expertise in Document AI, Vertex AI, and other GCP services.
? Participate in targeted training programs focused on data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
? Pre-Proposal Preparation:
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical strategies and solutions.
? Assist in creating technical documentation and presentations that highlight Aretec's capabilities.
? Technical Development:
? Write, test, and optimize code using Python or Java for scalable applications.
? Manage cloud environments, ensuring data governance and integrity.
? Implement AI ethics principles, focusing on bias mitigation in machine learning models.
? Data Processing:
? Support large-scale document processing projects using Document AI and Vertex AI.
? Ensure adherence to data management standards and governance protocols.
? Project Coordination:
? Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
? Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within teams.
? Compliance & Security:
? Stay informed about federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP) affecting project development.
? Prepare compliance documentation as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

? Proven experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
? Hands-on experience with Document AI, Vertex AI, and related GCP services.
? Strong foundation in machine learning, data science principles, and AI technologies.
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred:

? Experience working with federal agencies or in regulated environments.
? Involvement in large-scale document processing projects.
? Master's degree or higher.

Certifications:

? Mandatory: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer certification.
? Preferred:
? Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
? Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer
? Google Cloud Professional AI Engineer
